BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Utix Group, Inc., (OTCBB:UTIX - News), a leading issuer and processor of Pre-Paid Sports and Entertainment Tickets, U.S. Patent No. 7,066,383, announced a $318,000 shipment of Utix Pre-Paid Ski Tickets to Costco Wholesale for the upcoming holiday season.
The Utix pre-paid experience ticket system operates as a magnetic strip payment process for one-time admission or access to a sports, recreation, leisure or entertainment activity or event. The patent entitled "System for Marketing Leisure Activity Services Through Pre-Paid Tickets" represents the first to issue of a series of applications related to the novel "non-monetary" magnetic strip gift ticket.
"Utix is changing the perceived value of a prepaid gift by providing a ticket to ski instead of simply cash to spend," stated Jim Rowins, Senior Vice President of Utix. (OTCBB:UTIX - News), the leader in pre-paid gift tickets, launch the new prepaid round of golf ticket as one of the newest licensees of the PGA TOUR family. The exclusive licensing and co-brand agreement with the PGA TOUR features the TOUR brand on Utix golf tickets.

Mr. Adams, Co-Founder has served as Chairman of the Board of Corporate Sports since its inception in 1986 and as Co-Chairman of the Board of Utix since November 2003. Together with Anne Concannon, Mr. Adams co-founded, managed and operated Corporate Sports Incentives for fifteen years. During his career, Mr. Adams was President, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of International Micrographics Inc., a wholesale distributor of microfilm consumables founded in 1982, A&J Realty Trust, an owner and manager of real estate founded in 1988, and The Sharper Edge, a distributor of ski-sharpening equipment founded in 1990.
