The ICU360 Panoramic video surveillance Security System is a cost-effective solution for monitoring areas where multiple camera installations are undesirable, or the system can be used in conjunction with existing cameras. Using panoramic optics, a complete 360-degree or 180 degree range can be monitored with a single camera.
EyeSee360 is a proprietary, specialized, Patented optical device with Patent Pending software that allows viewers to select their own viewpoint by clicking and dragging on the image. Multiple users can view the same scene from different perspectives simultaneously. The images can be distributed in a wide array of formats, including over the Internet and via television broadcast.
The "Time to Market" for the IFXH system is right on target. Marketing the EyeSee360 to defense, casino, and retail applications is filling a pent-up demand in the security sector. Instead of screening 20 or more monitors, clients using the EyeSee360 system and its revolutionary VideoWarp Software, can decrease monitoring to a 3:1 ratio.
Surveillance cameras are springing up in a growing number of the most populated and dangerous metropolitan areas around the country. The Palm Beach Post recently reported that the West Palm Beach Police are rolling out the first of what could be up to 100 cameras around the city's most violent neighborhoods. The rotating cameras will cost an estimated $17,000. This points to the current race for greater surveillance in our cities, ports, shopping areas, amusement parks and casinos. The EyeSee360 system provides the benefit of a full 360 degree view with a single camera - at a fraction of the cost of traditional rotating systems.
Last October, Integrated Camera Optics received a letter of interest from the Director of Security for the Las Vegas Monorail to test the EyeSee360 system. A successful test may mean that the EyeSee360 will be used to upgrade the Monorail's present system and future system expansion.

The Need For Better Road Patrol
Concerned about homeland security, the California Department of Transportation is installing video cameras that will monitor the Bay Area's transportation infrastructure and transmit the data to Caltrans engineers and the California Highway Patrol. Hundreds of cameras will watch over the Golden Gate and the Bay Bridge.

But the surveillance business continues to grow. Last year, the closed circuit TV camera market generated about $1.5 billion in revenue, according to JP Freeman, a market researcher in Newtown, Conn.

The mirror design works with most cameras, digital still or videos, with superior resolution. IFXH can custom-design a mirror that delivers an optimal vertical field of view for any application.
In addition, IFXH software has the flexibility to "unwarp" (flatten) the panoramic video from any panoramic mirror and gives complete flexibility for display, including: full 360 cylindrical views, perspective views, fisheye lens-like views, and any combination of these views using an interactive pan-tilt-zoom control and a mouse and keyboard.
