VirtualSellers.com, Inc. has two synergistic business units
that develop solutions for its client base. As a provider of turnkey
e-commerce solutions, the company combines Web-based and 800 inbound
transaction processing. The company's TAME™ (Tag Activated Markup
Enhancer) software is a rapid application development language
for Web/intranet/browser solutions. TAME can be purchased on a
license basis or used via VirtualSellers' ASIP (Application Services
Infrastructure Provider). The Professional Services Group (PSG)
provides solution-focused consulting, development and project
management.
Its
Sullivan Park division, based in Los Angeles, and its NorthStar
TeleSolutions division, based in Indiana, have more than doubled
their revenues during the past quarter as they have become profitable
operating units. VirtualSellers sold more than 15 TAME applications
in FYE 2000 and integrated TAME into 14 client-server applications.
The
growth and profitability of these divisions and the success of
TAME is providing greater utilization of capitalized resources
enterprise-wide and producing a more efficient use of the existing
infrastructure. VirtualSellers is focused on managing growth with
the goal of being cash flow positive and moving toward profitability
this year.
The
NorthStar TeleSolutions division provides centralized billing,
collections, 24/7 customer and technical support, order entry
and fulfillment, real-time authorization, credit card fraud protection,
dispatch, help-desk and telemarketing services with the aid of
dedicated account managers. Currently, 21 cable companies are
contracted with NorthStar to serve over 40,000 customers with
growth projections putting them at over 80,000 this year.
With
or without the 'back office' services, VirtualSellers can build
a site from scratch or upgrade an existing site using TAME. Turnkey
services to e-tailers and catalog merchants include critical areas
like online store layout, marketing, inventory control and an
operations center that can process 50 million transactions a day.
The Sullivan Park division and the company's Professional Services
Group deliver low-cost, start-up e-commerce enabled Web sites
that are quick-to-market and of the highest quality.
