Almost exactly a year ago we featured today's company (formerly known as Showintel Networks).  Limelight Media has made tremendous progress over the past year and we're excited for you to hear what's happening with the company now (see news release below). 

Limelight employes a "Captive Audience Network" strategy through "in-theater," "in-lobby," and interactive & promotional advertising mediums for advertisers wishing to gain access to the highly sought after moviegoer that arrives an average of 20 minutes prior to the start of a movie.  Captive audience networks take advantage of the fact that more than 75% of purchasing decisions are made while shopping by creating a hybrid of television-type and point-of-sale advertising.  Through Limelight's networks, not only are traditional advertisers provided with an alternate media channel, but companies who might not otherwise advertise are also provided with a medium that guarantees access to a well-defined and often regular audience.

MPH Entertainment Set to Produce Programming for Limelight Media Group

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Limelight Media Group (OTC Bulletin Board: LMMG - News) has retained the award-winning production company MPH Entertainment to produce a series of entertainment-oriented programs scheduled to be distributed over theater networks beginning in April 2004. Each twenty-two-minute program will be comprised of informational, educational and entertainment pieces designed to attract the attention of theater audiences. Portions of each program will be new material produced by MPH Entertainment specifically for the Limelight Media Group.

Los Angeles-based MPH Entertainment, Inc. was launched in January of 1996 by Jim Milio, Melissa Jo Peltier and Mark Hufnail. MPH Entertainment specializes in the production of feature films, telefilms, television series and specials. In just eight years of operations, MPH has produced over 150 hours of primetime television programming and two independent feature films. In 2002, Tom Hanks' Playtone Company co-produced, in association with MPH Entertainment, the box office hit "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," winner of a People's Choice Award and the highest grossing independent feature film in history. MPH Entertainment is actively producing specials and series for The History Channel, the A&E Television Network, the Sci-Fi Channel, VH-1 and the Discovery Communications family of channels.
