RCAI Launches Robotic Spray System to Tackle Huge 'Sticky' Aggregates Market
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 29, 2006--RCAI (OTCBB:RCAA - News) announced today that it will formally launch the Reliant 1 robotic Alderox® spray system through its exclusive distributor, Applied Industrial Technologies, to penetrate the North American marketplace.
The Reliant 1 is an automated application system for the Company's Alderox® non stick industrial coatings used within the aggregate and mining industries.
Further to its initial production in early January 2006, RCAI has perfected the design of the Reliant 1, resulting in exceptional operational performance. RCAI has recorded over 3,000 continuous cycles of flawless, on-site field performance and is now offering the system as part of a lease program. This program ensures that the customer will utilize the Alderox® brand products exclusively throughout the term of the lease.

Currently five formulations of ALDEROX™ are available in three target markets. Development of ALDEROX® ASA-12® was undertaken by RCAI at the request of the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT). UDOT was in need of an effective, economical and environmentally friendly asphalt release agent. The Utah Department of Transportation conducted extensive tests using ASA-12® on their mix designs. ALDEROX® ASA-12® has successfully released the toughest mix designs across the country and worldwide. ASA-12® is the contractor’s choice for sticky mix designs and high tempo jobs.
ALDEROX® DCR® Slat Cleaner and Lubricant is a specially formulated release and lubricant designed to reduce life-cycle costs and maintenance issues resulting from poor performing drag chains. DCR® Slat Cleaner and Lubricant provides a lubricating action to reduce startup amps and eliminate spiking. Additionally, DCR® provides a releasing action to ensure highly polymerized mix designs do not build-up and cause shutdowns and operational delays that cost money and significantly reduce productivity. ALDEROX® DCR® will further provide a safe effective barrier should a plant stop with hot mix in the conveyor.
ALDEROX® KR-7® was brought to market in response to the concrete industry's need for an effective, economical, and environmentally friendly release agent. KR-7® is applied as a clear coating to concrete molds/forms and allows concrete to be easily released from molds/forms.
ALDEROX® Paver Blend is a modified blend of the ASA-12® formulation designed for use by paving crews on equipment. The product is applied via a specialized spray system and prevents the adhesion of asphalt to equipment surfaces, thereby eliminating the need for constant cleaning. Use of the Paver Blend product also helps provide better smoothness of the paved surface by ensuring that no asphalt sticks to pneumatic rollers.

Alderox® TSR® is the first product to effectively protect equipment and haul trucks from the adhesive oil-sands and related substances found throughout the mining industry, representing significant savings in haul truck down time and maximizing load efficiency. The haul trucks used in the oil sands are typically the 380 ton Caterpillar 797.

RCAI Progress Update
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 11, 2006--RCAI (OTCBB:RCAA - News) announced today the following progress updates with respect to sales and state approvals for its Alderox® products.
RCAI and Applied Industrial Technologies Inc. (AIT), RCAI's exclusive North American distributor, have completed the first series of installations of Alderox® spray application equipment and are now working towards marketing the Alderox® line of products throughout our distributor's aggregate customer base.
Mike Davies, CEO of RCAI, stated, "It has been a critical process to have the first of our distributor's existing customers switch over to our Alderox® products so that they can record their operational results while using Alderox®." Davies went on to say: "Once their results are recorded and the savings and environmental advantages are shown, it will be the customer's corporate decision to move forward with retrofitting additional facilities. We are confident that the results will show significant operational savings."
Since the company's products and promotional materials became fully available to all of its distributor's 440 sales offices in mid-June of 2006, RCAI has filled requests for hundreds of brochure packages and product samples for demonstration and presentation purposes. RCAI and AIT are committed to the completion of sales training for all of AIT's offices. Sales training seminars have been completed in the northeast and are under way in the southeast and scheduled in California within the next 30 days.
In July 2006, AIT launched a promotional campaign for the Alderox® ASA-12® product. The campaign is focused on moving customers towards the use of the ASA-12® product as their asphalt release agent and away from the traditional practice of spraying truck beds down with diesel fuel. The campaign encourages customers to put fuel in their vehicle tanks, not in their truck beds and offers a $20 gas card with the purchase of ASA-12®.
On June 1, 2006, RCAI launched its Alderox® ASA-10® asphalt release product as a more cost-effective solution for releasing standard asphalt mixes. The company has made application to a number of state Departments of Transportation and has already received its first approvals. Management expects to have made application to all U.S. state D.O.T.s by mid-August 2006. State D.O.T. approvals are required only for the sale of the Alderox® ASA-12® and ASA-10® products.

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 2006--RCAI(OTCBB:RCAA - News) announced the launch of Alderox® ASA-10® asphalt release agent. Alderox® ASA-10® was formulated by the company as a lower-cost alternative to Alderox® ASA-12®. ASA-12® is RCAI's flagship product and was developed in response to the industry's need for a cost-effective, environmentally friendly release agent that provides superior results with even the stickiest of polymer-modified asphalt mixes used for race tracks and airport taxiways.
ASA-10® was specifically formulated to provide similar results as ASA-12® when used with the standard asphalt mix designs that are used for most roads. ASA-10® product was formulated to meet or exceed all 50 state Department of Transportation testing requirements. These different approvals are a state requirement for the product to be used in the bed of asphalt haul trucks only.
