The Emmy Awards were given for "Outstanding Costumes for a Series" and "Outstanding Original Movie Title Theme Music."

These category winners will be announced at The 59th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, which will air on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 8 pm EDT on the Fox Network.

Sony and its licensees premiered the series internationally this summer. Peace Arch licensed Canadian rights to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation who will broadcast the first season of "The Tudors" in Canada this fall. Peace Arch Entertainment will distribute the series on DVD in Canada in late 2007.

The first season of the "The Tudors" is a ten-part series of one-hour episodes that tells the incredible tale of the young, powerful, seductive King Henry VIII, focusing on the tumultuous early years of the ambitious King's nearly 40-year reign of England. Peace Arch Operating Divisions

The Company’s motion picture division produces or acquires five to eight films per year for worldwide theatrical distribution followed by subsequent exploitation in the home entertainment and television markets.  The film division also produces or acquires an additional ten to twelve titles per year initially intended as DVD or television premieres.  In North America, Peace Arch releases theatrical titles itself on a limited or platform basis, and also licenses its pictures to third party distributors like Sony and Fox.  Internationally, Peace Arch’s films are released by third party distributors.

The Peace Arch television division produces and acquires mini-series, movies-of-the week, series and documentaries that it licenses directly to broadcast, cable and satellite television services throughout the world.  The Company has a multi-year co-financing arrangement with Showtime Networks and has also produced projects for Lifetime Networks and ABC Family Channel.  Its award-winning subsidiary, The Eyes Project Development Corporation, produces lifestyle television programs and documentaries for Canadian broadcasters and international licensees such as The Discovery Channel.
