It was a sign of things to come. Video music was a new, vivacious industry and just as the adage "A picture's worth a thousand words" had declared, video had proven that video music was worth a lot more than just plain audio. 

Fast forward to the late 1990's and computers and mobile phones are on their way to ubiquity, quickly penetrating pop culture and commerce. Video clearly must find it's way to both omnipresent devices, right?
